Aged care clients and NDIS participants often thrive in group environments that foster creativity, social interaction, and emotional support. Through the Woods Counselling provides structured, meaningful group wellbeing programs funded through NDIS, Home Care Packages, and the new Support at Home model.
Our group programs are professionally facilitated and include:
- Art Therapy Groups (painting, clay, collage)
- Creative Writing and Life Story Circles
- Relaxation and Guided Visualisation Sessions
- Therapeutic Journaling for Memory and Emotion
Each group is designed with therapeutic goals in mind and tailored to the abilities and interests of participants. Sessions are inclusive of people with dementia, mobility challenges, or communication needs, and can be offered in residential aged care, community centres, or via regional outreach.
